Pianos, Digital Pianos & Violins Available for Public Purchase

The UMKC Conservatory had the use of new first-class pianos and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2025-2026 school year. This ongoing arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to supporting music education. These instruments, and instruments made otherwise available, will be sold at a discount from new retail pricing to perpetuate this valuable program and provide scholarship money for music students.

In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is vital to us in our efforts to further education in the arts and humanities. Event details are below. We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
WHAT TO EXPECT: A large selection of grands, baby grands, Disklavier grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, and orchestral strings will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Yamaha, Bösendorfer, Seiler, Italia Violins, a discrete selection of restored vintage Steinway & Sons pianos, and many others Most instruments are less than one year old, include a 5-10-year service contract, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*
LOCATION: This event will be held in the James C. Olson Performing Arts Center, 4949 Cherry Street, Kansas City, MO 64110-2229. Metered parking is available in the lot at the corner of 50th and Oak. Virtual appointments via Zoom are available if required.
